Welcome to the interest check for

wenis, an upcoming murdergame set to open on September 27th! This will be a 2-week murder mystery game intended to accommodate as many of y'all as we can fit into one go. Unlike previous two-weeks, we are not capping the player limit at 20, so if you have time, feel free to throw in!

wenis is a game in the vein of

tropicalgetaway or

uturns , where characters are brought to a mysterious location with no explanation - in this case, characters will fall through a portal to a world where it's December 30th, 1999. There's a huge NYE bash getting ready to happen, and you're all invited! By force! Get ready to party, or else. Maybe if you do, you'll get to go home... or will you?

→ Characters will appear as if they've been pulled from their current canon point without missing a beat.

→ Characters of any origin, shape, or form may be applied to this game, so long as there's a way that they can be killed. If you're unsure of what you may have in mind, feel free to ask! We as a mod team think it would be swell if you apped characters who would be down to kill each other.

→ Powers will be nerfed upon a character's arrival.

→ Character cast caps are set at three per canon. Since this is a smaller game, franchise canons will be counted as a single cast (for example, one character from FFVII, one character from FFX and one character from FFVIII would mean the Final Fantasy cast had reached its cap).

→ Being a murdergame, there will be situations that arise in which your character may be asked to kill, or in which your character may be killed! We will also have murder proposals open, so you can rain death on others even if you aren't asked to. Delightful.

→ Please keep in mind that, especially given the length of this game, your character may be killed at any point in the game with little warning. There will be numerous opportunities to die outside of murder proposals and we anticipate this will be a death heavy game. That doesn't mean there's nothing to do afterwards, however!

Check out the game info post for a more detailed rundown of the game. Additionally, unlike previous games, we will be running applications and reservations concurrently. What that basically means is that both reservations and applications will open on September 18 and close on September 25. Note that you will still need to pop in a reserve to confirm your spot and give your fellow player visibility of cast sizes and claimed characters, even if you end up sliding in your application five seconds later.

Please be aware that this game is invite only! If slots for +1s open up, we will be sure to let the group know as a whole. But until then, if you received an invite from one of your mods (that's Flurry, Sisi & Quynn) then you're in.
